“Well, Li’s got a taste for his recliner, so good luck with that,” his uncle replied.
His parents had filled him in on how things had gone down from there. Cooper had played the part of the mercenary and Lou had been taken in, and voila, now they were here.
And he still had zero idea who The Jester was and why anyone would think he was involved.
What he did know was how to blow Lou’s mind.
He pressed down on her clit and she gasped slightly, holding herself still as he moved his thumb against her, stroked inside her with his finger.
His uncle closed his laptop and rubbed a place between his eyes as though the day had been far too much for him. “All right. TJ, I’m going to need a thorough written report.”
He felt the moment she came. It was there in the way she shivered. In the way her fingers pressed against the keyboard, but nothing like actual words came out. Just a bunch of rs and ps. Her lips pursed, and then she relaxed.
He should have known he would get punished for getting kidnapped. Paperwork.
I’ll type it up. Promise.
Like she could read his mind. “I’ll get right on that.”
“And I’ll call in to Langley and see what I can find out about The Jester,” his uncle promised. “And someone fucking find Tristan.”
“He’s on a secondary assignment, sir.” Zach stood and faced the big boss. “I’ve tried to get in touch with him, but I was told it was beyond my paygrade.”
So Tristan was working some kind of black ops for another team. Even his Uncle Ian wouldn’t be able to get information on where he was.
“I don’t like the sound of that,” his mother said. “I’ll call Adam and see if he knows anything.”
Kala was staring at him across the table. Like she knew what was happening.
He didn’t care if everyone knew. All that mattered was Lou was relaxed, and she sat back in his arms.
He gently withdrew his hand from her undies, sliding along her thigh.
“We’re wheels up in two hours,” his uncle announced. “Zach, help me escort our friend to German intelligence, and for god’s sake TJ, if you’re going to hump her leg do it before we get on the plane. It’s the small jet. I can’t…I just can’t, damn it.”
His uncle stalked out.
His dad shook his head and leaned over, whispering something his mom’s way.
That got her smiling again. “Seriously? Did you teach him that?”
His dad kissed his mom. “Maybe. Maybe we should go and see if I’m still any good at it.”
“And I’m out of here.” Cooper stood. “You know I get enough of this from my own parents. I do not need it from you.”
“Or you,” Kala said under her breath as she stared his way, proving she’d known exactly what was going on.
TJ shrugged because he didn’t care. He wasn’t sure why everyone was acting all prudish. They’d grown up surrounded by parents who liked to show their affection way too much. “And yet here I am.”
He fought the urge to bring his fingers to his lips and taste her again. There was only so far he could push. Especially since his father knew exactly what he’d done.
“I should get ready to go.” Lou hauled herself up, gathering her laptop and crushing it against her chest.
Probably so no one would see her nipples were hard.
“Did I miss something?” Kenzie was looking around like she’d skipped the best part of the soap opera playing out in front of her.
“I don’t know.” Tasha slipped her cell into her pocket. “I think TJ was rubbing her leg or something. Should I schedule a physical for TJ?”
“I don’t need…” he began.
His dad pointed a finger his way. “Yes, you do. You are not going to be stubborn about this. At the very least you’ll let one of the docs look at you. You went through something…”
“Don’t you dare say the word traumatic.” He was sick of that word. He was fine. He didn’t need a doctor.
Lou looked up at him, her eyes big and wide behind her regular glasses. “Please let them look at you. I would bet Aidan or Carys can do the basic physical if that makes it better.”
Fuck. He hated physical exams. “Okay.”
She nodded and then turned and walked away.
His mom watched as Lou left. “Wow, son. You have a button and she pushed it.”
“That is not how I explained it,” his dad hedged. “It was kind of supposed to be the other way around.”
Kenzie frowned. “Seriously? Here while we were talking? Ewww.” She frowned. “Now I’m sad. Everyone gets to do perverted things except me.”
She flounced off.
TJ sat back. He did have a weakness. He would pretty much do anything Lou wanted.
Except let her go.
Chapter Seven
“Yes, you heard me right the first time,” the big boss was saying. “No. It wasn’t one of the twins. They were perfectly well behaved. I raised them right. I’m going to have a long talk with Boomer when we get back. I can’t blame TJ. He was raised by wolves.”
