“That’s my good girl,” he murmurs.

I push my feet against the muscled skin of his tight ass. I’ve never seen a man with an ass this great. The motion has its intended effect as he goes wild above me, bucking and swearing.

“So…close.” I thrash my head, trying to find that last little bit of what I need.

“I got you.” He reaches between us, playing with my clit and it feels like I touched a live wire as electricity courses through my body. Stars explode behind my eyes and time loses all meaning. There’s only this one magical moment right here, our two bodies joined in perfect union.

As my vision returns, I feel him jerk inside of me. Then he’s filling me with long ropes of his hot come. Spurt after spurt, he gives me everything until he collapses on the blankets beside me.

Somehow, he manages to keep our bodies intertwined, still holding onto me as he turns. There’s a soft glow in his eyes and for a long moment, we stay like this, with him holding me and the fire crackling softly.

When he finally pulls out of me, he moves to put his leg back on.

“Did you lose it a long time ago?” I ask softly, guessing that he has. He moves it on and off easily and the skin on his limb is thickened as though he’s worn a prosthetic for years.

He finishes attaching it then puts on his jeans, covering it up. He sits next to me and pats his leg. “Do you want to hear the whole sad story?”

I sit up too, tugging the shirt I’m wearing around myself. “If you want to tell it.”

He stares into the fire, not looking at me. “As a kid, I wouldn’t tell anyone the truth. Sometimes, I said it was an alligator attack. Other times, it was a shark. It was fun to tell tall tales, and it distracted people from asking more questions.”

I hadn’t considered that sometimes the hardest part of being different is having to constantly explain to other people why you’re different. “That must have been difficult.”

His voice is flat as he explains, “It was bone cancer. They took my leg to save my life, but people look at you differently once they know that. I never wanted pity or to be thought of as that sick kid.”

“Look at me,” I call softly. When he does, I see the flicker of vulnerability on his face. “I don’t pity you. Hearing your story only makes me admire you more.”

“I worked damn hard to get good at using my prosthetic, so most people would barely notice my limp.”

“You know the first thing I noticed about you?” I bump his shoulder with mine. “Your eyes and combined with that beard, I knew I was looking at the hottest man I’d ever seen in person.”

He grins, his eyes lighting up. “It was your curves wrapped in all that red. I spent the entire ceremony thinking about how I wanted to pull that dress off you with my teeth. Never wanted a woman with that all-consuming need until I met you.”

I press a kiss to his lips, his beard still damp from where he ate me out a few minutes ago. “I could put it back on for you.”

Chapter 12

Jasper

“That feels good,” Thea sighs in contentment as I move my hands up and down her body. We’re relaxing in my oversized bathtub together. Her back is pressed to my front as my hands roam everywhere. I love the feeling of her body. Her curves are so soft, and I can’t wait to watch more of them appear as she grows round with my child.

“What are you thinking about?” She chuckles. “You’re getting hard again.”

I didn’t think it was possible to be hard again. After we made love in front of the fireplace, she modeled her red dress for me which ended with her on her stomach, writhing as I ate her out from behind. This woman has my fantasy mode set permanently to on. I’m always thinking about the next way I want to have her.

I nuzzle her neck at the same time; my fingers find the apex of her thighs underneath the water. I hear her sharp intake of breath. It’s different from her usual noises of arousal, and I move my hand away. She’s sore. After how many times I’ve taken her today, I should have expected that.

She pouts. “I want you to touch me.”

“Later,” I promise with a soft kiss to her bare shoulder. Then to distract her, I ask, “What do you want me to make you for dinner?”

“You don’t have to take care of me.”

I reach for the washcloth and pour more of my body wash on it. I love that she’ll smell like me, that I’m marking her with my scent. “I’m a simple man, Thea. I want to take care of my woman. I want to be the one that provides for all of your needs.”
