Like he couldn’t handle it, Cato stormed back out—making sure to slam the door this time.

Cato

Bates and I had just finished a meeting, and now we rode in the back seat of my car.

My brother rolled down the divider to speak to the driver. “Take us to that club you took me to last week.” He hit the button again and closed the divider. “After dealing with assholes all afternoon, I say we get drunk—on pussy.”

“I’ll have a drink or two. But I need to get back.”

“Why?”

I glared at my brother. “You think I’m actually going to answer you?”

“I’m your brother. You should answer me.”

I looked out the window and ignored him.

“This better have nothing to do with that bitch.”

Hearing him call her that all the time got old, but I didn’t have the right to correct him. She did betray us.

“It doesn’t.”

“Then you’d better take two women home with you tonight—to Tuscany.”

The blow jobs were good enough for me, but when I caught her touching herself with my come dripping between her fingers, I lost my shit. It enraged me for so many reasons, but the biggest reason of all was because I wondered if she did it on purpose—to torture me. She wanted me to fuck her the way I used to, and I refused. I wanted all the power, but she was trying to take it away.

I’d never seen anything sexier in my life, and even though I’d just fucked her mouth, I was desperate to fuck her again.

I’d never wanted a woman more.

The image of her on her bed with her legs spread was ingrained in my mind forever.

I would picture it when I fucked other women.

I would picture it when I was alone.

I wanted to retaliate in a harsh way, to prove to her that she meant nothing to me. Bringing two women home was the perfect way to do that—to show her I wasn’t hers. “Fine.”

Bates clapped me on the shoulder and smiled. “That’s my brother.”

Finding two women was easy.

I wasn’t picky.

They were all over me, sitting in my lap and sucking my neck. Their dresses rode up to their hips and exposed their brightly colored thongs, but security didn’t dare enforce the dress code.

I got hard, but not like I did with Siena.

Truth be told, she was all I thought about.

Bates came to my side. “I’m taking off with Roberta.”

“Isn’t her name Carlotta?”

He shrugged. “I’m so rich I can call her whatever I want. See you later.”

“Bye.”

“Happy fucking.” Bates took his woman and walked off.

Joanna squeezed into my side, clearly buzzed. “When are we going home?”

“Yeah?” Catherine was on my other side, pouting her lips and drumming her fingers against my chest.

“How about now?”

Joanna smiled. “Yes. Let’s do it on a bed of money.”

“Yeah,” Catherine said in agreement. “We can stick the bills in our panties.”

Lines like that would have turned me on six weeks ago. But now I thought about Siena, the one woman who genuinely seemed to dislike me because of my money. She was the only woman in the world who felt that way. “Then let’s go.”

Siena

“Where do you live?” I sat at the kitchen counter while Giovanni washed the dishes. He’d made me a Cobb salad with a side of fresh baked bread. It was delicious, like everything else he made.

“Here, of course.”

“Really? So even when you aren’t working, you’re still here?”

“Oh, I’m always working.” He rinsed the dishes and set them on the counter to be placed in the dishwasher.

“Always?” I asked, finishing my last bite of food. “You can’t be serious.”

“Seven days a week. Unless I’m ill.”

“But that’s not right.” For a man so rich, I didn’t understand why Cato would do that to such a sweet man.

“Don’t get too upset,” he said with a chuckle. “I love working here. The pay is great, the accommodations are world-class, it’s safe, and Mr. Marino is a pleasure to serve.”

“You would say that even if he weren’t.”

He chuckled and finished the last dish. “That’s what makes me a good butler.” He grabbed my plate from the counter. “Finished, Miss Siena?”

“Yes, but I can take care of it, Giovanni.”

“Absolutely not.” He turned back to the sink and rinsed it. “This is my joy.”

I found that hard to believe, but everyone was different. “Can I ask you something?”

“Of course.” He stacked the dishes in the dishwasher.

“Why do you enjoy working for Cato so much? I know you told me why, but why are you so loyal to him?”

“The nature of any butler is to be loyal. When a master takes on a servant, he’s actually adding a member of the family. At least, that’s how I feel.” He shut the dishwasher door and started the dishes. “Mr. Marino has always been good to me and the rest of the staff. It’s easy to serve someone you respect.”
