“I guess I’ll call you my boyfriend. Of course, I don’t even know your real name.”

“You know it.”

“Not your road name or whatever. My name’s Bell Castle. Don’t you have a real name?”

“Nobody knows it. Not really.”

“Can I? Promise I won’t tell anyone. I’ll put it in the crypt,” she said.

“What’s that?”

“Where secrets go to die.”

He scrubbed a hand over the new scruff coming in on his jaw. “Liam Boyle. Now, put that shit in the crypt.”

She couldn’t help but smile. “It’s a great name. I love it,” she said.

“You’re weird.”

“And that’s why you love me.” She settled down beside him, tucking herself in close to his body and resting her head on his shoulder. His strong arm came around her, his hand landing on her hip. She felt his thigh against her pussy and became instantly wet. Right now, she craved him to roll over and fuck her, even though it was just a crazy fantasy.

“Any luck on the job front?” he asked.

“Not yet, but it’ll happen. It has to, right? Until then, I can just pick up some extra shifts at the diner.”

“I’m going to come by around seven,” he said.

“How come?”

“To eat. What else? Is it against the rules to serve your boyfriend dinner?”

“You’re impossible.” She dared to run her hand up his chest toward his neck. Bell wanted him. Needed him. He was too much of a gentleman for a biker.

He snatched her wrist in his hand, making her yelp. “Be careful, Bell.”

“I’m allowed to touch.”

“That go both ways?”

“Obviously. I’m not a prude.”

He shifted to his side, cupping her face before kissing her again. He felt hungry, taking more. Nothing would get her to stop him. She loved the feel of his lips, his mouth, his tongue. He was thorough and a very good kisser.

She ran her hand around his back, loving how hard all his muscles felt. He made his move quickly, cupping her ass and giving it a firm squeeze. She definitely had more than a handful of curves, so she hoped he liked them. When she felt the hard length of his cock press against her aching core, she broke the kiss and gasped for air.

She was twenty-three. The thought of having a serious relationship or sex shouldn’t scare her. Of course, Tank was no ordinary man. He’d probably be hung like a horse based on his size and height.

“You okay, baby?” He trailed kisses along her jawline.

“I’m good.”

“You feel tense.”

“This is just all new for me,” she said.

He nuzzled her neck, his tongue teasing an erogenous zone she didn’t know she had. “You want to go back to the friend zone?”

She scowled. “I’m not going backward, Tank. I want this. I want you.” Bell trailed a fingertip along the tattoo on his collarbone. Then she studied his face, finding such rugged masculinity. “Your eyes are beautiful. I never realized how blue they were.”

“Guys aren’t supposed to be beautiful,” he said.

“Sorry, they’re a very manly blue.”

“Better.”

He was about to kiss her again when the sound of motorcycles rumbled in the distance. Tank sprang up into a sitting position, his body on edge.

“What’s wrong?” she asked, sitting up to join him.

“Nothing.”

She followed his gaze, and sure enough, two bikes approached on the road. They came to a stop in front of the park.

Tank cursed under his breath.

Two men walked across the lawns toward them, both dressed in all black, complete with cuts. She wasn’t sure if they were the same as Tank’s or different. They appeared menacing, like death coming to collect.

She noticed how Tank shifted his position so his frame mostly sheltered her from view. Was there going to be trouble?

“No invite?” said the dark-haired man.

The other man tried not to laugh but failed.

“What do you want, Brick? Kind of busy here.”

Brick tilted his head to the side. “Not going to introduce us?”

Bell peeked around his shoulder. “Hi, my name’s Bell.”

Tank exhaled in irritation.

“Nice to meet you, Bell.”

“Ah, fuck. Just take a sandwich and hit the road,” Tank said.

“Tarmac had a craving for pizza, so we took a ride into town. Didn’t expect to find you here in the park having a tea party,” Brick said.

“Picnic,” Tank corrected.

“Okay, big boy. We’ll leave you to it,” Tarmac said. “Lord says for all of us to keep our eyes open.”

“Already got the memo.”

Both men walked off, occasionally looking back at them before riding off. The roar of the bikes finally faded to nothing. Tank was visibly tense. He couldn’t hide who he was if they were going to have a serious relationship. She knew who and what he was and didn’t have a problem with it. Or was this just a fling?

“Are they from your club?” she finally asked.

“Our VP and Road Captain. Fucking assholes.”

“They seemed nice,” she said.

He ran both hands through his hair. “They’re just messing with me. I’ll get them back.”
