Breaker laughed at my shock, and the tension in the hallway began to dissipate. “You can’t possibly be surprised. You’re the one who warned my bride about how the men of the Silver Saints move at warp speed when we find our women.”

Scout growled, and I shot him a glare full of deadly intent before locking eyes with Wendy. “From the look on your face, I’m guessing you’re good with being my old lady,” I teased with a wink. Then I bent my head and whispered in her ear, “The way you call my name when you come was a good indication, too.”

Wendy’s lips curved up slightly, and her cheeks dusted with pink. “Yeah, that does it for me,” she said, giving me the side-eye at her double entendre.

Cat, who had wandered over to stand by her man, put a hand on his arm and gave it a gentle squeeze. “Let it go, baby. You know he’ll treat her right.”

I nodded, and Scout inhaled slowly, his face twisted as if in pain as he attempted to come to terms with the situation. “If you don’t,” he grunted with a dark scowl, “I’ll hunt you down, shove your balls down your throat, and use you as a speed bump at one of your racetracks.”

“Racetracks?” Wendy echoed with a confused frown.

Scout’s expression turned smug, and I rolled my eyes. “You haven’t told her about the racing? Not a good start, Rider, keeping things from your old lady.”

“We’ve known each other for less than twenty-four hours, Kyle,” Wendy interjected, her tone exasperated. “We’re still getting to know each other.”

“Twenty-four hours?” Scout bellowed.

Breaker sighed and stepped between us. “Sort your shit out after the wedding,” he snapped. Then two brothers dragged Scout in one direction while I took Wendy’s hand and led her to the front exit of the church.

Once we were settled in the car and I turned over the engine, she asked, “Racing?”

As I navigated out of the parking lot, I nodded. “Yeah. I’ve been racing since I was a kid and got heavily into BMX racing for a while. After the Olympics, I retired from BMX and stuck to racing motorcycles, which was always where my heart truly was. Between the money I saved from my sponsors and a few years of street racing, I had enough to buy a track. Then I opened an off-road track last year.”

The drive to the reception hall was only a few minutes, so I pulled into the parking lot just as I finished my short summary. Wendy was silent until I turned the car off and looked in her direction.

Her eyes were slightly wide as she stared at me. “Did you say Olympics?”

Yeah, I’d skimmed right over that. I wanted to be honest, but I didn’t like talking about myself, especially my medal. People always treated me differently, and it was weird. One of the things I loved about being a Silver Saint was that while the guys respected my talent and achievement, I was just a patch like all the rest.

I gave her a brief overview of my journey to the games when I had competed.

“Wow,” she sighed. I waited for more of a reaction, but she just shifted in her seat to open her door.

I grinned as I climbed out of the car. I should’ve known she’d be no different than my brothers. She grew up in the life, after all.

After rounding the car, I took her hand and began to lead her to the building. A tug on my arm brought me to a halt, and I looked down at her.

“So?”

“What?”

Wendy rolled her eyes. “How’d you do?”

“Gold,” I muttered as I moved toward the entrance again.

Wendy was silent, but when we reached the door, she yanked on my arm and dragged me to the side of the glass door, so we were out of sight to anyone inside.

Her sinful mouth was curled into a smirk, and she grabbed the lapels of my jacket, rising on her toes to bring our lips closer. “That’s kinda hot,” she sassed, before closing the gap between us.

I immediately jumped into the kiss, taking over and pushing her up against the wall and grinding against her. A few minutes later, I jerked my head back and gulped down a lungful of air. “Fuck,” I muttered as my eyes rose to the sky. “We have to stop, baby, or we won’t make it to the reception.”

Wendy whimpered, and I grunted in frustration as my cock pulsed with need. However, I managed to step back and put some distance between us. “I guess we have to go,” she panted, her tone filled with disappointment.

“Don’t do that, little firecracker,” I groaned. My eyes dropped to her face, and she licked her lips invitingly. “Fuck it. Getting inside you right now is totally worth Breaker kicking my ass.”
