Panting heavily, Felix grabs my body and curls up against me, spooning me from the back, while my head rests on Dylan’s lap. Ali lies down beside him, curling his arm across us both.
A perfect quartet of madness.
“God … that was amazing,” Dylan rasps.
Ali laughs. “It was, though.”
“I know we’re supposed to clean up, but fuck, I needed that first,” Dylan adds.
“I still haven’t forgiven you guys, though,” I mutter between ragged breaths.
“I know,” Felix mutters into the nape of my neck. “But we’ll have a lifetime to make up for it.”
“Hmm … only if I’m the only girl.”
His eyes narrow. “Who else would there be?”
“Well, you were dancing with one at your father’s club.”
His mouth quirks up into a lopsided smile. “You’re jealous.”
I playfully slap him in the stomach. “You were trying to make me jealous.”
“Maybe,” Dylan jests.
“No,” Felix interjects.
“Felix was trying to pretend he didn’t have any feelings for you,” Ali says.
I frown. “Wait … I thought that was—”
“A lie?” Ali raises his brow, and he gazes at Felix. If looks could kill, Ali would be dead by now.
“Don’t be a wuss and deny it,” Dylan says.
“Who are you calling a wuss?” Felix barks, and he leans up on his elbow, ready to start a fight.
“Did you boys fight like this over Eve too?” I ask them.
“What?” Dylan frowns.
“No,” Felix replies, and he waits until I spin around and face him before he continues. He slides aside my hair. “You mean far more to me than Eve ever did.”
I smirk, and Dylan snorts and looks down at me. “What are you smiling at?”
“So you meant what you said?”
“Who?” Dylan points at Felix and then himself. “Him or me?”
“Both of you.”
“Well, I …” Dylan mutters, and I gaze up at him.
“Are you blushing?” I ask.
He rolls his eyes and laughs it off, then slaps himself. “No, of course not.”
“Just tell her you love her,” Felix grumbles. “Stop fucking lying to yourself and admit it.”
Why am I suddenly all warm and fuzzy inside?
Fuck.
I’m not normally like this at all, but with them …
I’m protected. Needed. Desired.
“I love you too,” I say with a soft voice. “All of you.”
Even if I hated them for what they did to me, I still couldn’t deny that I needed them.
Ali looks at me with an admiring gaze. “Even when you got under my skin, I’ve never not loved you.”
I smile at him, and he leans in to give me a sweet kiss on the lips.
“But love’s a funny thing for guys like us,” he adds. “It’s more like—”
“Obsession,” Felix fills in.
“I know,” I reply, content.
Dylan caresses my hair. “If you wanna know the answer to your question, it’s yes.”
He leans in and grabs my chin to press a possessive but tender kiss on my lips. “And I’m glad you love me too.”
“And me,” Felix growls, making me laugh, but the laugh is immediately interrupted by a crazy-obsessive kiss.
Always the jealous one, even when he has nothing to be jealous of, because the fighting is over.
I am theirs, and they are mine.
EPILOGUE
Penelope
Days later
I brush up the last bit of dirt from the floor and throw it into the trash.
“There. All done. Looks much better now,” I muse as I gaze around the university hallway. So many things still need to be done, but the painters have done a fabulous job of fixing the walls at least. The floors and the staircase are still being renovated, but it all looks so much better than it did before, after the inferno that took place.
I must say, being the one to burn it down and then having to clean all my shit up has been cathartic to say the least. And it’s nice to see the boys doing something that isn’t completely destructive. Watching them toil around with a shovel and a paintbrush is actually rather … sexy.
“What are you looking at, Pen?” Dylan muses, rolling the paintbrush around the walls where the painters haven’t been yet.
“Enjoying the view?” Ali adds as he throws a piece of broken furniture in the trash. “I know I am.”
“Pervs,” Felix says as he gets up from cleaning the floor by hand.
“Damn right I am,” I retort. “And proud of it.”
I mean, I don’t care if they caught me lurking.
They know I like watching them.
Ali high-fives me, and Dylan pulls up his white button-down, then slides the brush across his abs, avoiding the bullet wound. “Yeah, you like this?”
“FML.” Felix sighs out loud and grabs his cigarettes. But the second he tries to light one, his father suddenly comes up behind him and snatches it from his hands.
“No smoking inside.”
Felix grumbles, “You’re all going to be the end of me.”
“I’m sure you’ll be glad to hear you’re done for today,” his father replies.
“What? All of us?” Dylan asks, pausing with his brush midair.
