We race off, leaving behind an irate man at the gates yelling his socks off. None of us can hear what he has to say, nor do we care.

I know Felix can drive like a champ. That’s why he’s always behind the wheel when shit gets real.

“WHOO!” I cheer as we swerve through the streets. “That’s what I’m talking about.”

“You all really enjoy being delinquents, don’t you?” Penelope muses.

I place a hand on her knee, my fingers digging into her skin as I say, “And you loved it.”

She scoffs. “It’s not like I have a choice.”

I grab her chin and force her to look at me. “You had a choice.” A wicked grin spreads on my lips. “And you made yours long ago.”

I slowly lean in, my eyes glancing between her and the rearview mirror through which Felix is glaring at me. But it doesn’t stop me from claiming her mouth right in front of him. And he can’t do anything to stop me.

She tastes like heaven and hell at the same time, a toxic mix I can’t get enough of, and if I could, I’d fuck her all over right here in this car.

But we’re all soaking wet, and I need her to recoup some energy before we go again.

“God, you undo me,” I mutter into her mouth.

My tongue is wild for her. The last time I felt this way was with Eve, and even that didn’t come close to the visceral reaction my body has to Penelope. She fires up my body like nothing else, and I could turn the whole world into ashes and flames just from the mere thought of losing her.

But I’m not alone.

Two others in this car share the same feelings, and I get the sense somehow, someday, this will all explode in our faces.

I inch back and watch as her lips lean into mine, desperate for more.

Lovely.

Her eyes open, and the look on her face sours as she realizes I was looking at her pretty lips begging me for a kiss.

“Asshole,” she hisses.

I smirk. “And you love it.”

“I’m surprised you care,” Penelope says, and she raises a brow. “Don’t you have a boyfriend?”

I slyly gaze over her shoulder at Alistair, who licks his lips. “Oh yeah … but he doesn’t mind.”

Alistair’s hand slowly slides across her thigh until he touches my fingers, and he grips her chin with his other hand to steal her away from me with a kiss that’s apparently so good she moans. And it makes me want to rip her out of his arms.

“I’m not his, and he’s not mine,” I say, pecking her neck instead. “But you … you belong to all of us.”

“Simmer down back there,” Felix barks.

“Jealous?” I mutter, gazing right back into his stern eyes through the mirror.

“Shut up,” he growls, and he kicks the car into gear, speeding like crazy.

“Oh well, if we can’t kiss her …” I lean in and grab Alistair’s face, kissing him instead right in front of Penelope.

“Wow, it’s getting steamy in here,” she muses.

My lips unlatch from Ali’s. “Might even be able to dry up.”

“Dry up at home,” Felix retorts.

Penelope suddenly gasps. “Wait, what about the club? Shouldn’t we go back? I left my friends all by themselves. I thought we were going back.”

“They’ll be fine,” Felix replies, tightening his grip on the steering wheel. “I’m gonna take you home. Safe.”

She swallows and sits back, despite the fact that I could swear she was about ready to rip his ass out. But something about his choice of words has subdued her.

“Okay.”

Wow. I never thought I’d be here the day she’d simply give up.

I sit up straight to look at her. “What, no protest?”

She shakes her head.

Felix glances at her through the mirror. “Good girl.”

Her cheeks turn a reddish hue, and I almost can’t believe it was that easy. Why does she suddenly listen to him without fighting? Did something happen back there in the cemetery?

“But I am gonna text them, though,” she says.

I roll my eyes. I should’ve known she cares way too much about what other people think of her.

“What will you tell them?” I say, bucking my hips. “That you got banged so, so good in a cemetery?”

She shoves me with her elbow, and I groan with pain and excitement.

“I’m telling them how sorry I am and that the entire bill is on me to make up for the fact that I left,” she replies.

“Oh, how chivalrous of you,” I muse as she tucks her phone back into her pocket again.

Alistair squeezes her knee. “Are you okay?”

“I’m fine,” she replies, shivering again.

“Dylan,” Felix growls, eyeing my coat lying in the back.

I immediately lean over and cover her with it. “You should’ve told me you were cold.”

“I said I’m fine,” she says.

“You still don’t trust us, huh?” Alistair mutters, slowly rubbing her knee.
