Sadie slowly smiled and then giggled. “You’re teasing me.”

Rocco held up his phone. “Nope. I wouldn’t joke about a good book.”

“Why do you have a book for Little girls on your phone?” she asked.

“I have lots of books for Little girls on my phone. A Daddy must always be prepared to tell a story when his Little girl needs one.”

“Is that in the rule book for Daddies?” she asked, giggling again.

“Of course. It’s in the top ten.” He leaned over to give her one more kiss on the lips before opening his phone to start the story.

She listened intently with a beautiful smile on her face until he got to the very end of the first chapter. Her eyes grew heavy-lidded, and she was struggling to stay awake, so Rocco ended there, reminding himself he would have to back up a few paragraphs tomorrow night.

He rose to his feet, kissed her forehead, and whispered, “Sweet dreams, Little one. See you tomorrow.”

After turning out the lights, he exited her room, letting the door shut slowly so it wouldn’t slam and disturb her.

He was grinning as he headed down the hallway toward the stairwell leading to the private, secured floor where his apartment was located.

When he stepped out into the common area, he found the rest of the guys lounging on the giant sectional and surrounding armchairs. They all looked up as he entered.

“Did you lecture her about wandering around in the gardens alone?” Magnus asked before Rocco had a chance to say a word.

Rocco sighed. “No. I will tomorrow. We had other things to discuss, and I didn’t want to explain how I knew she was in the gardens tonight.”

Magnus grunted.

“You have a point,” Hawking said. “She might not be too thrilled when she finds out Magnus can surveil her at all hours of the day and night.”

Rocco flinched and narrowed his gaze, looking toward Magnus. “There aren’t any cameras inside her apartment, are there?”

Magnus shook his head. “No. But I’ll know if she leaves her room. There are cameras in the hallways.”

Rocco nodded toward the hall leading off this common area where their individual apartments were located. “What about our private quarters up here? Any cameras in there?”

“No cameras on this floor except outside the door in case someone approaches who isn’t supposed to be up here.”

Kestrel shuddered visibly. “Glad to hear that. I’d be a bit squicked out if I thought I was being filmed everywhere.”

Rocco had an agenda to discuss before dropping into bed. “I noticed my apartment has two bedrooms. Do all of them?”

“Yes,” Phoenix responded. “At least, mine does.”

Everyone else nodded.

Rocco wasn’t sure how they were going to respond to his next statement, but it couldn’t be avoided. Since they had established all six of them were Daddy Doms, surely they wouldn’t judge him.

He rubbed the back of his neck as he continued, “I’m going to turn that second room into a playroom for Sadie. I hope it won’t be too difficult to get furnishings and other supplies delivered.”

Caesar sat forward. “I doubt it would be a problem. However, it won’t be necessary to order furniture. It would seem our mysterious benefactor is well aware of our proclivities. I found an invoice in a folder on the kitchen table itemizing a long list of supplies due to arrive tomorrow. It included six twin beds, dressers, bookshelves, and a few other items.”

Rocco was stunned. “He already ordered furniture for future Littles?” That seemed presumptuous.

“It would seem so,” Hawking added. “Looks like we’ll be doing some assembling in the next few days. We’ll start with your playroom and work our way around to the others. No rush on those since there aren’t even any women around this resort yet, and even if there were, there’d be no guarantee they’d be Little.”

Kestrel nodded. “I have a suspicion we will all eventually be meeting the perfect Little girl.”

Rocco glanced around this common room, wondering how long the six of them might be living here. “Does anyone else find it interesting that Kingsley is going to great lengths to make us feel at home, considering we are technically off the hook once we repay the marker we owe?”

Phoenix chuckled. “Somehow, I don’t see any of us going anywhere anytime soon. You planning to bail on us after you finish ensuring Sadie is safe?”

“Fuck no. Never. You’ve all agreed to help me get her out of this mess. I’ll be here to do the same for each of you.”

“It’s settled then,” Caesar agreed as he rose to his feet. “We’re a team. We have six missions coming at us. Looks like Sadie is the first mission.” He held out a hand, palm down. “I’m in this for the long haul. Anyone else?”

The other four men stood with an outstretched hand as Rocco entered the circle. They each slapped a hand on top of another hand until they had a pile and then lifted them in a dramatic wave of arms.
