I’d follow her.
Again, I’m such an idiot, but I know it’s true.
My wife is standing with Elliot, laughing at something on her phone, and I am in awe of her beauty. She’s in a short red dress that hugs every curve and valley of her body and sparkles just as brightly as her eyes. It requires all my restraint not to take her against the first surface I see.
We couldn’t ride together since I went in for afternoon skate and she worked in the coffeehouse. I almost feel like she wants to drive me crazy with that dress and then those fuck me hard and fast thigh-high black boots. Her hair is up in a slicked-back bun, not a strand out of place, looking like a fucking whole-ass meal with dark eye makeup and a bright-red lip.
That’s my wife.
I start for her, dazed by her beauty, and I have to adjust my cock in hopes no one notices. She does, though. My wife’s eyes cut to me, and a little smirk pulls at her lips as I make my way toward her. She licks those lips as I close the distance between us, bringing her into my arms before pressing my lips to hers. As much as I want to glide my tongue along the seam of her lips, I don’t. Because I don’t know if I’ll stop.
I pull back from her way too quickly and trail my lips along her cheek to her ear. “I should find a spot for us and spank that ass for how hard you’ve got me at my team party.”
She giggles softly, leaning back to meet my gaze. When her eyes light up, her lips curving in a breathtaking way, I’m a goner. I lean in for another taste, but she stops me. “Stop. You got lipstick all over your mouth.”
I growl. “I don’t give a fuck.”
And I take her mouth once more. I pull her flush to me, and she grins against my lips as I squeeze her.
“Get a room,” I hear Elliot mutter. “No, wait. Let me take a picture.”
My wife laughs at that as she pulls back, running her thumb along my lips. “You’re a mess.” I know I am. As she wipes away her lipstick, she asks, “Do you not like my dress?”
I squeeze her ass. “I like it a lot, just not that my teammates have a chance to like it too.”
She smirks. “What teammates? I only see you.”
“Gag,” Elliot announces. “But I may use that as a tagline on one of your posts.”
My wife rolls her eyes as she turns to her sister. “You’re insufferable.”
“Hey, I’m a professional! Didn’t you see how well the post of you and Katz is doing? It has over five hundred thousand likes and no bad comments. Like, what? I fully expected someone to say something bad. I’ve been watching since I posted—and nothing. Only congratulations and how cute you two are.”
My wife beams up at me, and I stroke my thumb along the curve of her ass. “Did you see it?”
I shake my head. “I’m not on social media after all the crap that went down.”
“Oh, pull it up, El.” Her sister does as she asks, and I lean in to look at the post of a bunch of photos of my wife and me, hugging, kissing, and holding hands. A lot from the gender reveal, some of just me on the ice, and then one of her in my jersey at a game. Seeing my name across her back sends chills through my body, but I ignore them to focus on the caption.
It reads:
Announcing Mr. and Mrs. Coleson Katz.
The Knoxville Bears Organization would like to congratulate Katz on his marriage to the granddaughter of our owner, Dan Davenport, Eliza McDavid. We wish you a long life of love and happiness.
It’s a great post, and it’s also smart of Elliot to include that Eliza is Dan’s granddaughter. “What did Davenport say?”
Elliot flashes me a wide grin before showing me Dan’s comment. Very excited for my granddaughter and, now, my new grandson. My family continues to grow and make me a very blessed man. Go Bears!
Well, damn. That is nice. “Wow, did he write it?” I ask, sorta joking, sorta not.
Elliot shoots me a look. “Yes, asshole. He wrote it himself, without my prompting. I was very proud.”
My wife even seems impressed. “That’s awesome. Thank you, El. It’s a great post.”
“It is,” I agree. “Thank you.”
She sways back and forth, the motion making her blue dress flare out at the bottom. “You’re welcome. Next, I need a dog or a cat. So let me know when you decide to do that.”
I laugh, and Eliza leans into me. “We’re too busy right now, but maybe soon.”
Soon. I’m trying. There may not be an end date.
