Sure.

“He needed toys and some stuffies here to be comfortable, not a full room with a daybed.” Where he’d found a daybed that looked like a playhouse I’d never know. “It has a roof, Cohen.”

He scoffed, refusing to acknowledge how overboard he’d gone. “It’s just a frame over the bed. It’s so if you drape a sheet over it then it becomes a fort. It’s practical.”

Rolling my eyes, I refused to agree to that. “It’s a bribe to move in.”

Had Ian realized that was the goal?

Cohen waved his hand, pushing away the idea. “He had fun picking out the toys and what the room should look like. It makes him feel more at home here. That’s it.”

Sure.

As I turned around and studied the room, smiling at the cute animal posters on the wall and spying a mound of stuffed animals in the corner, I was going to tease him again, but Cohen cut it off as he wrapped his arms around me and started nibbling on my neck.

The scrape of his teeth sent a shiver through me and he gave another low chuckle as I whimpered. “If you keep pushing your luck here, pup, I’m not going to tell you what I have planned for you.”

Oh, I got a bribe too?

Pushing my ass against his hard cock, I couldn’t hold back the happy sound that escaped. “What is it, Sir?”

I was a good pup.

I could be bribed to behave…treats…naughty goodies…new toys…bribes were an important part of being a pup.

Cohen was so smart.

He was also a tease because he simply stroked his hands over my chest and chuckled while I squirmed. When he finally kissed my neck again, I knew he wasn’t ready to stop teasing yet. “You’ll have to wait and see. I have something fun in mind for you, but it’s going to take a few weeks before it’s ready.”

What had he done?

I’d always gotten too distracted to explore his house in detail, but he didn’t have a puppy play room anywhere, right?

Making a mental note to snoop more and see what was really downstairs in the half-finished basement, since he’d basically said his house was my house, I pushed the idea to the back of my head so I wouldn’t accidentally look guilty.

The way he was smirking and shaking his head said I needed to work on it, but he didn’t call me out on my mischief. Instead, he kissed my neck again and stroked up my chest to pinch my nipples through my T-shirt. “Did you follow my orders while I was gone?”

Moaning from the pleasure and the frustration at the memory of waiting, I nodded. “Yes, Sir. I’m all ready for you and everything is ready for Ian.”

My getting clean aside, he’d asked if I wanted to be surprised by the romance or if I wanted to help. As much as I liked the idea of not knowing what he was going to do, I wanted to surprise Ian more. “He was running upstairs so fast I don’t think he’s going to notice anything off.”

Cohen chuckled, rubbing his face along my neck like he was marking me as his. “Let’s go surprise our boy then.”

Hugging me tight as I nodded, he gave me one last kiss. “I can’t wait to make love to you, pup.”

Hearing the words said so tenderly and so plainly sent another wave of need through me. “Me too, Sir.”

Where my conversations with Ian had been teasing and naughty in a fun way, with Cohen, things had been different. He’d found endless questions about what I wanted our first time to be like and what I wanted to have it be like with Ian and everything in between.

It’d definitely been more stressful than planning for the zombie apocalypse, but they were both fun in their own way.

This was just much more imminent and I was pretty sure the zombies weren’t around the corner or upstairs by Cohen’s nightstand.

“What do you do if you need us to slow down or for us to switch gears completely?” Cohen’s tone was even and relaxed, but I knew he was just as excited. There was no way for him to hide the tension in his body or the way his arms tightened when he started to overthink.

“I say yellow if I want to slow something down and red for us to stop and change directions.” Taking a breath, I continued before he could quiz me again. “And I know there’s nothing wrong with safewording. You and Ian will only be mad if I don’t use them when I should have.”

Cohen would be upset with me if I pulled that shit, but Ian would be devastated. Neither was acceptable, so I was going to be the best-behaved pup Daddy ever.

Thoughtful.

Horny.

Excited.

Gentle.

It was going to be wonderful for all of us.
