Now I was only going along with this, like I said because I genuinely believed that there was something wrong, not that the pain was as horrendous as it was when he was inside me, but I couldn’t be a virgin since I’d been in a physical relationship for four years and I didn’t want to give big dick walrus the satisfaction.

I wanted it on record that his damn club foot third leg, whatever the hell he calls that thing, had tried to dislocate my uterus. While I was rambling in my head, the doc was doing her thing. “It’s most definitely her hymen.” Say what now?

“Did he pay you to say that?” She smiled like a doting grandma.

“You’re right, she is a hoot.”

“What did you say about me?” I glared at him, but he just rolled his eyes and got down off of the bed to stand beside it.

“How is that possible? She’s had sexual relations before.”

“It’s very possible, especially if her partner or partners were less endowed. Or, some hymens are extremely strong and, in some cases may need to be surgically removed. Tell me, was there any unbearable pain for you, dear?”

My face was red and I pulled the pillow over my face. “Alyssa, sweetheart, answer her.” I should really play this up and make him feel guilty, but one thing I’m not about to do is play about my life.

“No, it was painful but nothing too horrendous.” I wanted to say more, but she was a stranger.

The two of them walked away and he didn’t return right away. I think I drifted off again because the next thing I knew, he was lifting me, and I was swatting at him. Then I felt him lowering himself with me in his arms, and then there was the feel of warm, soothing water on my cooter; we were in the tub.

He was taking such good care of me that I fell asleep. I heard people in the other room, no doubt, changing the sheets. “Do not take those sheets out of that room," I yelled through the closed door, not even sure they could hear me.

Garrett lifted the phone I hadn’t noticed out of the wall and I heard a phone ring in the other room. He passed it to me, “Tell them.” He held the phone to my ear, and I repeated what I’d said, having no idea who the hell I was talking to.

When I was through, he took the phone and said something in another language, which I was sure was not Spanish, before hanging up again. Then he proceeded to bathe me with the gentlest touch. I wasn’t sure what Norman Bates was up to at first, but when he didn’t do anything off-colored, I relaxed.

When it was time to get out of the tub after he’d changed the water twice, I pretended to have no strength, and he carried me without complaint. He even dried me off and put me back to bed on the nice, clean sheets that smelled like heaven in spring.

I peeped my eye open and caught him smiling as he moved around the room doing who knows what. “What are you grinning about?”

“What do you think?”

“My train don’t run to crazy town; I have no idea.”

“My virgin bride.” Asshole!

I huffed and turned my face away. I have got to come up with something to top this shit. That asshole Denny hung me out to dry. Here I was, thinking I was the shit because that bastard could only last a minute, and I heard some things that indicated that could be a sign of over-excitement for Moi.

I wasted four years of my life. “But wait.” I sat straight up in bed, all thoughts of sleep evaporated, “Where’s that sheet?” He lifted it off the chair. Someone had vacuum-sealed it already. This is going to be fun.

“You’re not sleepy anymore?”

“You keep your nasty dick away from me.” I covered my snatch with my hands and gave him the stink eye.

“Relax, the doctor gave me some numbing cream. The stuff I added to the bath should help some as well, but I’d rather be safe than sorry. Lay down and spread ‘em.”

Oh, he thought he was funny. Either that, or he was challenging me. Ha, I threw off the sheet and spread my legs as wide as they would go. Those cheer splits keep paying out. His look of shock soon became one of hunger. “My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard; you damn right, it’s better than yours….”

He shook his head at my singing and got to work with something that felt ice cold one second and numb the next. “I wouldn’t dream of touching you until you heal. Since you’re up.” He brought a thick folder over to the bed and got in beside me.
