“So close. God, I’m so close.” My hands lift her ass up further, legs hooking over the inside of my elbows as I keep up the rhythm, holding myself back in order for her to come first. No way am I getting off before she does. After all, ladies always go first. I feel her walls flutter again, and this time, I slam inside of her harder and deeper. “Easton,” she groans my name, her hands clenching the sheets like her cunt does my cock. My balls draw up tight, and I’m coming right along with her.
“Noelle.” I lose the battle of standing. My knees buckle, and I’m bracing my forearms on either side of her head. My lips land on hers, one hand moves beneath her head, and the other slips to her ass. I manage to flip us so I’m on my back and she’s on top of me without her losing my cock. Noelle has wrung my ass dry. I’m going to need a moment to recuperate before the next round.
Chapter 12
Noelle
I can’t tell you the last time I woke up feeling this relaxed, warm, and wrapped up like a cocoon. I’m lying on my stomach, a hand is tucked beneath my body, holding my breast, and a leg is thrown over mine. We never bothered with clothes after the last round of sex. I was too tired to think about getting dressed or worry about what Easton did. My eyes blink open. “My God, I slept with my date. I slept with my hired date,” I whisper. Okay, it’s louder than a whisper, because Easton shuffles behind me. He’s not moving closer but further away.
“What did you say?” Gone are his weight and warmth. I sit up, taking the blankets with me. His tone isn’t the same from last night nor during the night. There’s anger tinged with a side of wonder.
“I said I can’t believe I slept with my hired date.” My eyes flick away from his naked body, standing beside the bed with all the confidence in the world, until I meet his gaze. I instantly want to look anywhere but at him. His jaw is clenched, set in a way as if he’s in disbelief. His hands he had all over my body last night, smooth yet firm, are now they’re totally different. They’re in fists, and I can see how red they are while the knuckles are white.
“Do I look like an escort, Noelle? I work for a pro football team, wear a ten-thousand-dollar suit, and drive a hundred-thousand-dollar car. Please tell me you’re mistaken.” Okay, way to tell me about all your assets while I used a good chunk of my savings to hire Easton only for him to be someone he’s not.
“I’m not mistaken. Maybe you are?” Well, don’t I sound stupid.
“I assure you I’d know if I were a hired escort. Tell me everything, right now.” His voice echoes through the room. He’s not yelling or screaming, but his voice is elevated on octave.
“Well, I’m just here to tell you my bank account activity says differently. Can you, umm, put something on. In case you haven’t noticed, this isn’t easy for me to admit either.” I avert my eyes, pull the sheet up, and tuck my feet beneath my ass. I may as well get comfortable. This could take a while to get through.
“Yeah,” he grunts, moving to the foot of the bed, where he grabs his suit pants, then shakes them out to slide one foot in then the other. I shouldn’t be watching; I had my eyes downcast for a reason. Except with Easton, everything is different. I don’t feel like the oddball in my family to be nearing my thirties with no husband or children on the horizon. He doesn’t bother buttoning his pants, only zipping them, and damn am I having second doubts. His chest is muscular with its slight abs, but it’s his happy trail that has my mouth going dry. I have to snap out of it. He’s not mine. He wasn’t last night, and I’m sure after this conversation is over, it's safe to say that the only view of Easton I’ll ever have again is his back as he leaves. “Better?”
I swallow, trying to get my voice to work. Now is the time to remember my hospital working days when I had to lock down my emotions and check them at the door. “I, uh, well, you met my family. My Mamá in particular. I love her, don’t get me wrong, I really do, but she’s a pain in the ass when it comes to my love life. She mentioned Alejandro attending the party, and I panicked. There was no way I could show up alone this time with him fresh off his divorce. I’m not an idiot. Mamá may not have seen his social media posts, but I did, plus people talk.” I look at Easton. He looks like he’s losing patience with my long-winded one-sided conversation. Too bad speeding this up isn’t going to happen. This information is all important. “Anyway, Gabriella mentioned in passing I should hire a date. I was reluctant, but there was no one else to ask to be my date, so I decided to google Dates for Hire. I landed on the one I hired you from, or didn’t hire you from. The rest, well, you know already.”
