Thanks for understanding.
I was wrong about you. You’re actually badass.
You blew my mind.
I can’t bring myself to say any of those lines. I move my hand to her face and cupping her cheek, I brush my thumb over her lips.
This mouth of yours…
She opens the door, and I pull my arm back, then walk out of her room. Not looking back, I leave her building and head straight for mine.
When I walk into the suite, Lake glances up from his phone, where he’s lying on the couch.
“You only got back now?” he asks.
“Ah… yeah,” I lie. “I had two proposals to look at.” I move toward my room. “I’m going to sleep. G’night.”
“See you tomorrow,” he says, turning his attention back to his phone.
I shower and get ready for bed, my mind still humming from having sex with Kingsley.
When my light is off, and I’m staring up at the dark ceiling, the worries start to come.
How am I going to handle this tomorrow?
Fuck. Things are going to be so damn awkward between us.
Was it a mistake?
The memories replay in my mind, the feel of her soft skin and sexy curves.
Shit. I let out a breath as arousal begins to warm my body again.
She’s no longer just Kingsley, that’s for sure.
Aww… fuck, how am I going to look her in the eyes without picturing her perfect tits, her absolutely fuckable ass…
Damn, that ass…
When she walked away from me, I wanted to sink my teeth into it.
I let out a groan and grabbing hold of my pillow, I yank it from under my head and shove it over my face.
“Fu-uuck! I’m so fucking fucked.”
Kingsley
I’m laying in bed with a grin spread over my face.
Mason was so awkward after we had sex. The poor guy was at a loss for words.
My smile fades when I remember how he pulled me to his chest, and the kiss to the top of my head. It was so sweet, and something I never expected from Mason. And when he brushed his thumb over my lips, a tender look flashed over his face.
The sex was crazy hot and heavy, and Mason is by far the most generous lover I’ve ever had.
Not that I’ve had a truckload full, but let’s face it, Mason did make me orgasm twice. He didn’t just take what he needed, only to leave me wanting. He gave and gave until my body was sated.
The grin quickly returns when an image of his naked body flashes through my mind. Ye-aaah, the man has been blessed in many ways. Abs for days. Shoulders… holy hell his shoulders.
I let out a moan when I remember the feel of his cock, thrusting inside of me. It might as well be a freaking magic wand because he sure created all kinds of magic with it.
“Breathe, Kingsley. You’re about to overheat.”
I turn onto my side, hugging my pillow to me.
Before tonight, I was still apprehensive around Mason, but after the fight and sex, I now know his bark might sound vicious, but his bite is the most erotic thing I’ve ever felt.
Chapter 12
Kingsley
I’ve made the call to my insurance company, and after writing all the details down on a sticky note, I head over to Mason’s suite so I can give it to him.
Sure, I can text him the information, but there’s no fun in doing that.
I knock on the door, and when Lake opens, I smile at him. “Morning. I just have something to give Mason.”
“Sure.” He lets me in, giving me a curious look, then he yells, “Mace!”
“What?” Mason shouts back, and seconds later he comes walking out of his room, only wearing a pair of sweatpants.
It’s physically impossible for me to not grin. Mason’s eyes land on me, and he stops dead in his tracks which has me struggling to not crack up.
I clear my throat as I walk to him, and with a straight face, I hold out the sticky note for him to take. “I called my insurance. Here are the details.”
“Insurance?” Lake asks, his eyes darting between Mason and me.
Mason takes the note and stares at it for quite some time, then he mumbles, “You could’ve texted me.”
I press my lips together so I don’t tell him it wouldn’t have been any fun. Unlike the absolute delight I’m having at seeing his discomfort.
“Guys,” Lake says, “Insurance?”
“Oh, we had an accident,” I say.
Mason tilts his head, his eyes narrowing as he glares at me.
I quickly add, “It was my fault.”
“But you’re both okay?” Lake asks, his eyes sharpening as he looks at us.
“Yeah, Mason was a bit upset. He yelled. I apologized.” I shrug.
Mason lets out a breath he was holding, a look of relief crossing his features.
Then I add, “Then he apologized. He even got down on his knees.”
Mason coughs, and under his breath, he hisses, “Shut up, Hunt.”
