She moves to snuggle closer to me and sighs, causing me to decide on the latter—for now. I wrap my arm around her and savor her soft breaths.
“Sleep now, I will bless you later,” I whisper.
Billy
I wake with a gasp and cry out. It takes a second for me to register what’s going on. I look down my body to find Ardan devouring my core. Grabbing the sheets at my sides, I try to relax the tension from my body.
Ardan hums as he locks eyes with me. He’s working his fingers and mouth to bring my body to life. I don’t even remember going to sleep, but boy, what a way to wake up.
“Ardan, please,” I cry out.
He groans and keeps going. My legs begin to shake around his head, but he doesn’t let up. I come, screaming and shaking, feeling like I might pass out.
He climbs my body to take my lips in a searing kiss. I take my fill of my flavor all over his mouth. He enters me and groans deeply.
I wrap my arms around him and hold on tight as he makes my toes curl. I would think I was dreaming if not for the hard slapping of his hips into mine.
“Fuck,” I pant.
“That’s what I’m talking about,” he growls into my ear.
I clench around him just from the sound of his voice. He sucks on my neck and lifts my hips to squeeze my ass. If everything else could be this easy, I’d never want to leave his side.
I cling to him as he brings us both to climax sometime later. I do my best to catch my breath as he turns me onto my side and wraps me in his arms as he pulls me into his chest. He kisses my shoulder, then nuzzles my neck.
“If I could gift you anything, what would you want?” he says into my ear.
I take a moment to think the question over. I don’t normally like taking things from people. I go to tell him there’s nothing I want, but in my mind, I think of how I’ve always wanted to be gifted a library like Bella from Beauty and the Beast.
“You will have to learn to let me spoil you, my pretty one. Nothing is too much,” he says when I don’t answer.
I try to remember if I’ve closed the door to my thoughts because I know he’ll see how badly I would love to have that library. I groan to myself when I find the door sitting open.
Ardan chuckles and kisses my shoulder. “Too late now. I know your true desire. I will give you what you want, baby girl. Now, sleep so I can have you again.”
Be Prepared
Ienter the old run-down building and the first thing I note is the subzero temperature. This place feels like an ice box. I know, without a doubt, I’m in the right place.
It isn’t often you come across an ice titan. However, they can be valuable when you do. I personally had a hand in creating this one. First, my lord filled his wife’s mind with sadness and self-doubt.
When she became with child, I took over whispering words of despair as she would come to my confessional. We knew her suicide would break the titan, but the loss of his wife and unborn children was just what we needed to send him spiraling like a madman.
A few favors called in from some sirens who are on the outside of the brothers’ good graces and our plan ran smooth as silk. He still has no idea I am the cause of his wife taking her own life.
She hadn’t told him about the children before she carried it through. That was by design. It had a greater impact when the time came. I’ve been playing him since.
“Why are you back here? You have not given me what you promised. Don’t you know I plan to kill you for your failure?” the titan says as I find him in one of the upper rooms.
“You must learn the art of patience. Your nephews are young. It is not as easy as you think to break their hearts. As long as they remain water titans, we will not have access to them. It is once they become like you, I will be able to hand them over to you,” I say drily, not fazed by his threat.
He may be powerful, but I’ve regained enough of my powers over time to take him where he stands without breaking a sweat. Ice titan or not, he’s no match for me. I believe he knows this as well.
He rumbles with laughter. “You assume I care for my life. I have lost everything. I have nothing else to live for. You may best me, but I will take you with me. Leave, I have nothing else to say to you.”
