“I slept in your bed last night,” Sammy murmured, his voice wavering. “I hope it’s okay.”

“You know it is,” Dominic said, opening the buckle of his belt and unzipping his fly. His cock liked the idea of his Sammy sleeping in his bed on the sheets smelling of him. “Are you wearing my clothes again?” he said before he could stop himself.

“Yeah,” Sammy admitted, sounding embarrassed. “I’ll wash them before you return.”

“Don’t bother,” Dominic said and bit his lip hard, taking his cock into his hand. He wondered if he could convince himself that he wasn’t wanking to the sound of Sammy’s voice in his ear, but even he wasn’t that good of a liar. “You know you can wear any of my clothes.”

I wanna give you anything you want. Wanna take care of you, gonna take care of you so well.

He barely held the words back.

Sammy made a small, strangled sort of noise that went straight to his cock. Dominic fisted his cock harder, stroking his balls with his other hand, imagining what Sammy looked like right now: flushed and a bit embarrassed but also pleased and turned on, wearing Dominic’s clothes because he missed him.

He didn’t need to ask whether Sammy was touching himself or not; he knew. He knew the little noises Sammy made and the way Sammy’s breathing went unsteady as he wanked.

He couldn’t ask, anyway. This way, they both could pretend they weren’t doing what they were doing. Though, Sammy probably had no idea that Dominic was jerking off, too—jerking off to the sound of his breathing.

Christ. What kind of pervert had he become? This was insane.

Absolutely insane.

Next morning, Dominic was in a pretty foul mood after a long night of soul-searching, and his mood wasn’t improved by the fact that he had a Skype date scheduled with Luke in the early morning.

Putting on the mask of a besotted nice guy wasn’t easy when he was in such a shitty mood.

But of course he did. It wasn’t like he had a choice.

He smiled, flirted, and teased Luke, his posture relaxed and his eyes fixed on Luke attentively, even though his mind was preoccupied with other things.

But when Luke brought up Sam’s name, Dominic’s full attention snapped to him.

“I got the date mixed up and went to your house this afternoon,” Luke said. “I met Sam.”

Dominic struggled to keep his relaxed posture unchanged. His blood went cold, his protective instincts kicking in. On the outside, he smiled, letting some surprise show on his face. “You met Sammy? He didn’t mention it when I talked to him.”

“Yeah,” Luke said. “You never mentioned you didn’t live alone.”

Dominic eyed him carefully. Although he had been inclined to think Luke was a good bloke, Luke’s meeting with Roman Demidov proved that he wasn’t as innocent as he appeared. “I didn’t mention it because it wasn’t easy to explain. Some people take it the wrong way.”

Luke gave him a crooked smile. “I like to think I’m not just some people.”

Luke Whitford was an interesting bloke. He flirted easily, but Dominic didn’t buy that there was a serious intent behind the flirting. While Luke did seem attracted to him on a superficial level, it didn’t go beyond that.

It was curious. Not to sound conceited, but Luke was the first mark in his career that was proving hard to charm. It made him wonder if Luke had feelings for someone else. For Luke’s sake, he hoped that someone wasn’t Roman Demidov.

“I hope you won’t be,” Dominic said, looking at Luke through heavy-lidded eyes and glancing at Luke’s lips. “I like the hair, by the way. I didn’t even know you were so curly.”

Hopefully the desire in his gaze seemed sincere enough.

“When I first met Sam,” Dominic started, returning his gaze to Luke’s eyes, “he was a homeless, half-starved child. I took him home. I gave him a home.” He shrugged. “That’s pretty much it.”

“Oh,” Luke said, looking taken aback. “That’s… extremely kind.”

Dominic shook his head. “Not really. You would have done the same thing if you’d seen him back then.”

“You said some people took it the wrong way. Why?”

Dominic thought quickly, considering and discarding his options. He needed to make Luke believe that he saw Sammy as a child, not an object of attraction. “Because people have their minds in the gutter. Yes, I know it looks strange. He lives with me, I’m open about my sexuality, and I’m a lot older than him. We aren’t related, yet I pay for his schooling—I pay for his everything—so of course people start assuming some bullshit. Sammy’s straight, and he’s a kid, and I’m not a fucking pedophile, but some people still think I’m his sugar daddy.” Dominic chuckled, as though it was the most ridiculous thing he’d ever heard.

Luke didn’t laugh with him. “Are you sure you aren’t?” he murmured. “If I understand correctly, a sugar daddy/sugar baby relationship isn’t necessarily sexual.”
