“Just one more kiss,” he croons.

I dip under his arm and take off before he wraps me back in his embrace. He growls and takes off after me as I move into the flow of the other skaters.

With his powerful legs, he catches up to me easily and wraps his arms around me from behind. I lean into him as we begin to skate in unison to the music playing.

His arms are so comforting around me. The smile on my face is so wide my cheeks hurt. If you told me a month ago that this would be my life I would have called you a liar.

Now, this seems like the way my life has always been meant to be. He leans into my ear and kisses just beneath it. I shiver as I feel his warm breath against my skin.

“Want to head out soon.”

“Are we still going to the batting cage?”

“We can, or we can skip all of that. Save it for another day. Your choice.”

I sigh and snuggle deeper into his hold as we continue to glide. I really never want this to end. Cam spins me and looks into my eyes.

He has this sexy grin on his lips that I commit to memory. I save it to think of when the bubble is gone and I have to return to my reality.

To my surprise, he lifts my hands in the air as we continue to skate. “Don’t Wanna Be A Player” by Joe and Big Pun is playing. I grin at Cam as he winks back at me while bobbing his head.

For the next thirty minutes, we continue to skate, dance, and laugh. Cam gets hungry so we grab a bite to eat before we head to the batting cage.

Cameron

I thought skating was fun, but I’m having a blast here at the batting cage. Our banter has kept me on my toes. Not to mention I get to show off a bit while here.

I smack a ball and set up for the next. I can feel Amina’s eyes on me. She has fallen silent, causing me to glance at her after I hit the next ball. She’s biting her lips while watching me.

I have on a T-shirt that’s hugging my muscles as it stretches around my arms. I look down at my arms and then back at her. I step over to her and peck her lips.

“You look hungry,” I tease then peck her lips again.

“Then I think it’s time you feed me.”

“What are you in the mood for?”

“Sausage. The nine-inch kind.”

I chuckle. “It’s closer to ten, baby. It’s definitely time for us to go. I don’t want you to starve.”

She bites her lip and bats her lashes at me. God, does she know how perfect she is? Everything about her draws me in.

Once again, I think about sharing every detail of my life with her. With Caleb wanting to share his truth more, I can’t help but wonder if Amina would be safe to share the truth with.

“Hey, where did you just go?” she asks, placing a hand on my chest.

“Nowhere, I was just thinking about something.”

“Come on, let’s get out of here. You’re showing off and others are beginning to stare. We should go before I have to beat these chicks off and the guys surround you for autographs.”

I snort. “I’m not interested in any of them. Not a single one of them can hold a candle to you.”

“You do know I’m getting naked for you already. You don’t have to sweet talk me.”

I wrap my arms around her waist and pull her to me as I bury my face in her neck. I growl against her skin and palm her ass. Not able to help myself, I take her lips.

“I can’t wait to get you back to your place,” I groan.

CHAPTER 32

Feenin’

Maribel

I sit with my back against the headboard of my bed while Cam is standing shirtless over by the window. He’s been standing there for a minute, rolling two Ls while he seems to be lost in thought.

“What are you thinking about?” I ask as I sit with my knee bent, rocking it from side to side.

Cam looks over his shoulder at me and knits his brows. Then he shakes his head without saying a word. My curiosity is piqued as he turns back to the window and returns to his task.

“You know that says a lot. I know you better than to think you’re not thinking.”

“I didn’t say I wasn’t thinking, baby,” he murmurs.

I smile. It still makes me giddy to hear him use the endearment toward me. My stomach drops and does all types of weird things.

This thing between us has been going on for two weeks now. He’s at my place anytime he’s not in class, at a game, or at practice. It’s so hard not acknowledging him when he’s with his brother picking Nicole up from class.
