I’m absolutely dripping. I can feel the moisture all over the bed beneath us and his leg now that I have it draped on top of him. His thrusts are much more urgent—much more pressing—like he’s on the verge of something.

And while I may be new to this, I can guess what that something might be.

“Fuck, I’m right there, baby,” Grant grunts as his grasp on me tightens. Everything about his behavior has me getting close again too, and he feels it. “You’re close again too, aren’t you?”

I nod. “Y-yes.”

“Come with me, baby,” he says, staring directly into my eyes. “Let me feel it–”

But he can’t even finish his sentence. He can’t get the words out of his mouth before I feel the hot, sticky spray erupt inside me. And that’s all it takes to drive me over the edge too.

It’s like pressing a button to trigger my own climax, and the second one is somehow even more intense than the first. I grab ahold of Grant and holt on for dear life as my body quivers and rope after rope of his warm seed fills me up. His hips grind forward as he ruts inside me hard, and his hands hold me firmly in place like he’s owned me for years and will own me forever.

“Jesus,” he grunts as he starts to come down. Slowly, he starts to loosen his grip on me, and we both take deep breaths of air. “Sorry, baby, if I was too rough with you.”

“No,” I reply as the last wave of my climax rocks me straight to my core. “You weren’t. I mean—you were. But I liked it.”

This seems to make Grant happy, which in turn makes me happy. He smiles and threads his fingers through my hair much more delicately now than he was being just a moment ago.

“You did, didn’t you?” he asks, looking deep into my eyes. I feel as though a deep bond has just been forged between us. One that can’t be put into words, but simply staring at each other like this is enough for both of us to understand.

McKenzie is great. She really is. We started our friendship after she brought her car to the garage to have the brakes done and have a crack in the windshield fixed. She’s the only girl-friend that I have. I never understood guys who had friends who were girls, but McKenzie was always down to do things with the guys, had a great sense of humor, and knew how to hold her own so things never got complicated within the friend group.

But having said that, I figured that her wedding would end up being pretty boring. From what I’ve heard, weddings always are, which is why it took a lot of convincing to get me to show up. But all that changed when I met Allie.

We pushed the beds together last night into a jury-rigged queen and ended up doing it two more times before we got up and went down to breakfast, which was buffet style and served indoor-outdoor with tables and chairs set up on the side lawn. It was gorgeous.

But not as gorgeous as Allie.

Then there were some daytime events for people to participate in like we were all a bunch of old-timey rich people. There was croquet, a paddleboat ride that McKenzie loved, horses and carriages to ride around in, and a poker game—with fake money, of course.

McKenzie won, obviously, but everyone basically let her win. No one got together beforehand to plan that out as a strategy or anything—it just sort of went without saying.

But all of that was just leading up to the rehearsal dinner, where Allie is sitting across from me now, and I’m doing my best not to get distracted by her and how absolutely gorgeous she looks.

She’s wearing a gown that’s some kind of sea blue color, and it looks fantastic on her. It’s far less elaborate than the elaborate, somewhat over-the-top dress McKenzie has on, but that’s to be expected. The bridesmaids could never be accused of trying to one-up the bride, but Allie is already doing that just by existing.

We’ve been shooting eyes back and forth at each other since the appetizers showed up. Some kind of fancy scallop, which Allie hasn’t touched. I ate mine, and it was fantastic, but I guess she’s just not a fan of seafood.

Dinner tonight isn’t being served inside in the ballroom, but outside in the back garden on an enormous table, giving the whole thing a very royal vibe to it.

“I’d like to propose a toast!” A woman stands up, who I’m pretty sure is Charlie’s mother. She is smiling broadly and has a glass of champagne in her hand and looks pretty tipsy already. “To the future newlyweds!”

“Mom!” Charlie hisses, tugging at his mother’s dress hem. “Mom, stop!”
