How did he know I’d been doing that?

His chuckle was so low and dark that it sent a shiver through me. “Thought so.”

Ugh.

“You wouldn’t even get to fuck yourself with that toy you think you have hidden behind the old towels.”

Oops.

His smirk was sexy and infuriating. “So, should we get back on topic or should we debate the limits on your punishment?”

He’d make me talk about that too?

Evil.

There was no way around it.

Somehow he’d been turned evil by jerking me off…and watching me wag my tail…and kissing my neck.

“I…would you like me to make dessert?” It was a desperate, last-ditch effort and he didn’t even bother acknowledging it which somehow made it worse.

“You seem to be done, so let’s go talk and I’ll work on the dishes later.” Leif’s tone said there was nothing to question or debate, so I found myself nodding as he rose and walked around the table. “This isn’t the right place for you to feel comfortable talking about hard things.”

He wasn’t wrong, but somehow, I wasn’t sure he had the right idea making me walk over to the couch. “I should…would you like me to clean the kitchen? I can do the dishes?”

That’d come out as more of a question than I’d intended and it gave him the opportunity to shake his head. “No, thank you, but that’s a nice offer.”

I was scrambling to find other ways to fix this situation but my brain couldn’t think fast enough. Before I’d done more than mentally listed off a few chores we needed to tackle we’d somehow made it over to the couch.

He didn’t have the same slow brain problem because he put a pillow on the floor and steered me to it. “Kneel.”

Since it was either obey, safeword, or take a chance on being punished, I knelt. He ran his hand over my head and nodded. “Good boy.”

I tried to hide the way that sent pleasure and tingles through me but his pleased smirk said I hadn’t done a good job. “Hands up.”

It took me way too long to realize his plan was to take my shirt off and I found myself making a ridiculous startled sound as my shirt went over my head.

Leif didn’t seem worried about it, though. He simply laid the polo shirt on the edge of the couch and mimed taking in air as he sat down. “Deep breath, pup.”

My body liked making him happy because it obeyed without my having to think about it and his proud smile made me hard.

Again.

But since nearly everything he’d done since we’d started the whole pup thing made me hard, I was getting used to it and managed not to squirm and look ridiculous.

No, I did that when he sat down in front of me and straddled his legs around my body so all I could see was his chest and package. Yep, there were the silly wiggles and the blush I’d thought I’d managed to lose.

“Good boy.” Ignoring how nervous I probably looked, Leif trailed his fingers over my head and seemed to be in no hurry to rush into the conversation.

I wasn’t sure if that was him being nice or him finding a new way to torture me, and I still couldn’t tell when he eased me down so I was resting my head on his thigh and he laid the blanket over us.

Was he nice for giving me a blanket fort?

Was he mean because he’d trapped me next to his cock and I couldn’t play with it?

Was I being rewarded or punished?

Did I even want to know the answer to that question?

“If you’re a good boy, I’ll let you suck on my cock when we’re done.”

Nope. I didn’t want to know.

Chapter 14

Leif

Blanket forts were wonderful things…even tiny ones.

Petting Ender’s head as he let out a soft whimper and rubbed his cheek against my thigh, I kept up the soft touch as we hid from the world. “This is much better. I’d rather be cuddling you and planning the reward a good pup should get.”

That got a low whine and he let out a breath.

It seemed to be the signal that he was ready to stop being so unreasonably stubborn, but I didn’t rush. I took my time trailing my fingers down his neck and along his shoulders before moving higher again.

When his muscles weren’t so tight any longer, I kept us covered in his blanket as I tried to get him to open up. “I liked marking you, pet.”

Another whimper.

A long sigh.

I knew we were making progress when he went back to rubbing his cheek against my leg. “Me too, Sir.”

Much better.

“Afterward, I was worried about you feeling uncomfortable, though.” He didn’t respond to my words but I could feel him listening, so I kept going. “I don’t like being sticky. That was what I was focused on the most, but I should’ve been thinking about what you would want.”
