I shook my head at his question. “Not exactly. We settled the terms but now we need to decide about more personal matters such as sex. Dating. Public displays of affection.” The look on his face was absolutely priceless.

I felt a small measure of pride that I’d managed to shock this man into silence.

Chapter 15

Alex

Ishook my head because it felt as if my brain had malfunctioned. I could have sworn Sasha said she wanted to talk about sex. Sex and dating and getting physical in public.

“Alex, are you okay?”

I looked at the concern in her eyes and smiled. This was Sasha. We didn’t know each other very well—yet—but her conditions gave me hope about trusting her.

“Sorry, I stopped listening after you said sex.” I flashed a teasing grin because I didn’t want her to be uncomfortable.

With a roll of her eyes, she reluctantly returned my smile. “Focus, Alex.”

I wanted to focus, I truly did, but now that the word had fallen from those luscious pink lips, it was hard not to think of the implications. I’d been trying not to think about Sasha and sex in the same sentence, but now it was all I could think about. Having her under me, on top of me. From behind, gripping her curves as I made her scream my name.

“Alex,” she growled, snapping her fingers in front of my face. “Focus.”

“Focus.” Focus on sex with Sasha. I could do that. “Between practice and games, plus your responsibilities to Dixie, I figure three times a week should satisfy us both.” More if I could convince her.

She sputtered and shook her head, seemingly perplexed when she was the one who brought it up.

“I meant sex with other people.”

“Other people?” I frowned. “You’re my fiancée, and soon to be my wife, I can’t fuck around on you. I won’t.” As a single man who hadn’t made any promises to anyone, I never felt bad about taking a beautiful woman to bed, making sure we both had fun before we went our separate ways. But this was different, this was the next level. Sasha was an entirely different entity.

Sasha’s blue eyes widened in surprise at my vehemence, but then she laughed. “I get what you’re saying Alex, but you’re not choosing to marry me. We’re not dating and we haven’t even kissed to start laying out details of our sex life. For all you know, we’re totally incompatible in the bedroom.”

The moment she mentioned kissing, my eyes went to her mouth. It was lush, that was for damn sure. She had plump lips the color of watermelon, pink with a hint of shine. Her bottom lip was plumper, and her top lip had a deep bow that gave her face more character.

“Alex,” she said. My name came out low and breathy, and I understood what she was feeling because I felt it too.

Attraction.

Arousal.

I closed the gap between us and pulled her close, revelling in the feel of all those curves mashed up against me. Her tits were soft and plump, a bit more than a handful. Her hard nipples dug into my ribs and when her breath hitched, we were even closer.

“We can remedy part of that right now,” I told her with a low voice, barely able to conceal my own arousal.

“W-what?”

“The kiss. You’re right, we haven’t even kissed yet, and here we are about to be married. Best to be sure, don’t you think?”

Sasha shook her head no, but her tongue slipped out and slicked across her lips as if in preparation for what was to come. “We don’t need to.”

“Oh, but we do.”

“We do?” Her eyes were glazed over with a lust she tried hard to fight. “I mean, no we don’t.”

I smiled. “Then step back and we won’t.”

The pulse in her throat fluttered quickly to go along with her shallow breaths. She wanted to back away, to avoid the kiss, but she knew as I did, it was inevitable.

I lowered my head. “Last chance, Sasha.”

Her body relaxed against mine and her hands settled on my shoulders. It was as much of a green light as I would get and I lowered my head until our mouths touched.

I’d meant it to be a short kiss, one to show her the chemistry that was always there between us, just waiting to be explored. But one touch of our lips and the spark was lit. She tasted of strawberries and mint and when she opened her mouth to me and our tongues touched it was explosive.

One hand speared through her thick black waves, tilting her head back so I could devour her completely while the other hand slid down to cup her hip and pull her closer. She was so fucking soft everywhere, her hip in my hand, her tits and her belly pressed against my body so I felt every hitch of her breath, every shuddery breath.
