“Wantin’ one of those Jag Jamison customs?”

“Fuck yeah. Who don’t? An’ if you know anythin’ about his work, that shit ain’t cheap.”

“That’s for damn sure.”

“Speakin’ of sleds… Heard chatter ‘bout a poker run tomorrow. Know who’s holdin’ it?”

“Rabid Dogs.”

“Anyone welcome?”

“Guessin’ so. Plenty of ‘em here tonight to ask.”

“Will do that.” Fletch nodded. “You gonna be there?”

Wolf tipped his head toward the crowded bar behind him. “Most of us will. Pretty big fuckin’ deal ‘round here. Why so many clubs are in the area tonight.”

“Look forward to it. Be good to rub elbows with other like-minded people. Bring that sample then?”

Wolf’s jaw shifted just enough for Fletch to catch it. But the Demon said nothing for the longest time and only stared at Fletch. Yeah, the man wasn’t sure about dealing to someone he didn’t know. Fletch couldn’t blame him.

The biker might look like shit and smell like it, too, but he wasn’t a complete dumbass.

When Fletch began to fear that Wolf would just up and walk away, the big man finally spoke. “No reason to wait ’til tomorrow.”

Well, damn. But that could be good or bad. Fletch decided to wait him out.

He was relieved when Wolf dug deep inside his cut. He could barely see the tiny plastic baggy in his fat fingers and couldn’t tell if the meth was in rock or powder form, but either way, they were scoring like he hoped.

Things were going better than expected.

Unfortunately, his relief was short-lived and quickly turned to annoyance when Wolf leaned close and reached out to Nova.

Fletch couldn’t stop himself from tensing when the man made a show of tucking the tiny zip-lock baggy, no larger than a dime, into Nova’s pushed-up cleavage. He didn’t just tuck it and go. He pushed it deep into her bra and he fucking lingered.

The fucker was copping a goddamn feel.

Fletch was impressed that Nova kept her shit together. However, he couldn’t help but suck a sharp breath in through his nose and growl, “Brother,” in warning.

Wolf took his time pulling back. When he did, he puckered his lips and blew Nova a kiss before giving Fletch a shit-eating grin, adding on his own warning. “Wouldn’t mind takin’ her for a ride.”

“Ain’t gonna happen, brother, and don’t like you fingerin’ my woman without permission.”

Wolf shrugged, still wearing the grin Fletch wanted to wipe off his face. “You wanna play, you gotta pay. And with the way she reacted to me touchin’ her, shows she liked it and wants more.”

Fletch ground his teeth, grabbed Nova’s hair in his fist before ripping her head back far enough that their eyes met. He bared his teeth and growled, “That true?”

Her brown eyes were wide and held worry. “Only want you, Ghost. Swear it.”

Damn, she was good.

“Good answer. Otherwise, I’d whip your ass with my belt right here in this fuckin’ bar. Fact, would even make you bend over the bar to do it. That would teach you a fuckin’ lesson you wouldn’t soon forget.”

“Now that I’d pay good money for,” Wolf said with a chuckle. “Pay even more to be able to do it for you.”

Christ almighty. They needed to get the fuck out of there. And a fight breaking out near the bar was the perfect distraction and an even better excuse to leave.

“Nobody leavin’ marks on my woman but me. All right, gonna let her try that sample tonight. Will let you know at the poker run tomorrow whether it’s the quality I’m lookin’ for.”

“It’s good shit.”

“That’s what they all say,” Fletch grumbled. “Don’t take lightly to gettin’ screwed over. Happened once and that motherfucker regretted it.”

With his eyes on the fight that seemed to be spreading in their direction, Wolf reached into his cut again, pulled out a folded piece of paper and held it out to Fletch.

He took it and opened the flyer to see the details of the poker run. It said right across the top in big fucking letters that all clubs were welcome.

The fucker had known that info and held out. No surprise.

Fletch nodded and flicked the flyer with his finger. “We’ll be there.” He folded it back up and slipped it into his back pocket.

“No loss if you ain’t.” With that, Wolf then headed toward the fray.

As soon as he was out of sight, Fletch jumped to his feet and grabbed Nova’s arm. “Got what we wanted, now we’re gettin’ the fuck outta here. Don’t trust any of these fuckers to not try and distract me so they can grab you. We’re so fuckin’ outnumbered here. The worse it gets, the tighter my asshole is puckerin’.”

She got up on her toes again and with her lips against his, she murmured, “Agreed. Let’s go home.”

“Best fuckin’ thing I’ve heard all goddamn night.”

With a hand gripping the back of Nova’s neck, he steered her toward the exit. Just in time, too, since just as they reached the door, someone was thrown into a table nearby, causing a whole new tussle to break out.
