My heart felt ready to explode. Surely, I was close to death. One man could not experience this much pleasure and survive.

Then suddenly. . .off in the distance, a male’s voice sounded. “Lei. Lei. Wake up.”

I pulled away from Chanel’s mouth. “No. Leave me alone. Please.”

Chanel giggled and lowered to her knees. “L, do you want me to lick your balls while she’s riding your cock?”

“God yes!” I shivered in pleasure. “Suck on them too.”

“Lei.” The man continued. “It’s time to get up.”

“Dear God!” I shook my head no and then frantically moved my gaze from Monique’s bouncing breasts to Chanel being on her knees with her tongue out. “Whoever you are! Do not wake me up! Please! Leave me alone!”

Out of nowhere, hands jutted out from the darkness.

I tried to duck them. “Go away!”

Those hands clamped around my shoulders, jolting me away from Monique and Chanel.

“No!!!!!!!!!!” I twisted in the hand’s direction, grabbed the attacking bastard, and used his momentum against him. Although I could feel this person, I could only see darkness. “You fucking bastard!!!”

With a quick flip, I was straddling this faceless, bodiless man, my hands pressed against what I felt was his throat. “I am going to tear your fucking head off!”

But just as I was about to squeeze my hands hard, a faint thread of reality wormed its way into my dream. My eyes blinked open, and I found myself not in the misty, star-filled world of dreams, but in a luxury hotel room.

What?

I blinked and gazed down. Dim moonlight poured from the window highlighting the terrified face under me. I loosened my grip on his neck. “Chen!”

He squeezed out words. “Y-you. . .are. . .killing. . .me.”

“Damn it!” I released his neck, got off him, and left the bed. This disorienting fog still ran through my head. I tried to shake it away. “I was fucking sleeping! You tell me you want me to sleep. Every day, constantly complaining like an annoying wife. Finally, I go to sleep and you wake me up!”

Slowing sitting up from the bed, Chen rubbed his neck. “I thought you would be hungry—”

“What I want is to go back to that dream.” I began to pace next to the bed. “All the fucking times! Why can’t you all just leave me alone?!”

“Lei, it is time for dinner—”

“I’m going back to sleep. Wait.” I paused and stared at him like a mad man. “You have herbs for lucid dreaming. Yes. That’s right. Make me a concoction. I could return and finish what I started—”

“Everything is in my lab back in the East—”

“Send men to get them—”

“Lei, it is time for dinner.” Still rubbing his neck, Chen rose from the bed. “Everyone is waiting for you to—”

“I don’t care about dinner!” I got in front of him. “I need those herbs—”

“Lei, even if I made a tea for lucid dreaming it isn’t always a hundred percent—”

“I didn’t ask you for statistics.”

“I may need to go to the hospital. Even in sleep, your reflexes are deadly.” Chen rubbed his neck again. “You almost killed me. I’m sure you cracked something on my neck.”

I scowled. “I should have killed you.”

Chen smirked. “Was the dream nice?”

I gritted my teeth. “Very. Fucking. Nice.”

Chen gave me a sad smile. “I assume Chanel was in it.”

“Yes and. . .” I widened my eyes and scanned the space, suddenly realizing how empty the room was.

Chen raised one eyebrow. “And?”

I backed up and looked around. “Where is Monique?”

“Dressed and downstairs with everyone else, waiting for you to let them begin dinner. I’m sure everyone is starving.”

I sneered. “Monique is to be next to me at all times—”

“Our aunts overstepped.” Chen pointed to the empty teacup lying on its side by the bed. “I assume that was after they drugged you.”

“Goddamn it.”

“As your first line of defense, I apologize for letting that happen, but as you know, our entire crew is afraid of Aunt Min since she raised most of them.”

I ran my fingers through my hair. “So our aunts already met Monique?”

“They did and gave her tons of gowns and other things—shoes, suits, blouses, makeup, jewelry. There was so much stuff, I had to rent out another room in the hotel and delivered it there.”

“Also.” Chen dug into his pocket and pulled out a small box. “I bought new handcuffs.”

“Why?” I took it.

“As you know I am very uncomfortable with this kidnapping situation.”

I rolled my eyes and pulled off the box’s top.

Platinum handcuffs greeted my eyes. While their structure was solid and unyielding, it was the sparkling diamonds and sapphires along the cuffs that held my attention.

“Note the stunning blue hue. It’s like the deepest parts of the ocean.” Chen gestured to them. “They are an elevated piece of art that provide an unmatched level of exclusivity. I mean this is unparalleled extravagance.”
