“Yes, I can see,” I replied but kept my face serious. “So, what if I refuse you?”

A deep frown came over his face. “I shall be forced to take matters into my own hands.”

My eyes narrowed. “How, exactly?”

“Very well. If you wish to be taught, then I shall demonstrate.”

Instead of lifting my nightdress, he took hold of himself. I watched as his hand glided up and down the length of his manhood, his chest rising and falling, his breath increasing all while he observed me. I could not look away, and the pressure in the pit of my stomach began to grow, along with the ache between my legs. He had started slow, but soon, his pace quickened, as did my breath. As if I were mesmerized by him or had been taken over by my own desire, I reached out and touched him. He stilled for only a moment before his hand let go, allowing me to feel the full heat of him in my palm.

I continued what I had seen him do, moving my hand down the length of him as well. He licked his lips, his nostrils flaring.

“Faster.” That was all he said, and I complied. The more I did, the more I ached, but I was consumed by the look of pleasure on his face, the moaning that came from him, and it was joyous to hear that I could make him sound like this. But it also reminded me of the things he had done to me…how he had brought his mouth upon me. And so I moved to do the same when he caught my hand in his.

“What are you doing?”

“Can I not?” I asked.

“It is unbecoming of one such as you.”

I stared at him for a moment. “What do you mean?”

“A lady.”

“Then those who are not ladies have done this to you?”

He swallowed, rolling his shoulders back before speaking. “Having you like this is more than enough…I…could not even think—”

I licked the tip of him, and he jumped.

“Aphrodite!”

He tasted salty, strange. I ran my tongue over him. He twitched, and so I kissed, and soon, there was no more protest from him, only a deep gasp of air and a moan.

“Take me into your mouth,” he ordered.

“My mouth?” I repeated.

“If you wish to please me so, take me into your mouth…to suck…unless, if you wish not to—”

I was not exactly sure how to fit all of him, but I did as he asked. His hand brushed away my curls. “Just as you did with your hand, do that with your mouth, take me in—up and down.”

I did slowly, and he guided my head. “That’s right, but suck harder.”

I sucked and felt him throbbing in my mouth. And just as with his hand, it took a few moments before his pace increased slightly.

“Ah…yes…” I heard him groan above me.

He suddenly pulled away, and I thought I had done something incorrectly. He lay upon the sheet, grunting as he held on to himself.

“Did I do something wrong?” I asked.

He glanced over at me, eyes wide, his chest rising and falling. “Wrong? No. Sinfully perfect? Yes. Absolutely yes.”

“Is that good or bad?”

“I shall let you decide.” He smiled. He pushed me back down onto the bed, lifting my nightdress and cupping me between my legs. “Look how wet you have gotten. Let me not neglect you, either.”

“Evander!” I gasped as his mouth was upon me instantly. The moment his tongue licked me, I could not make sense of myself any longer.

How had this happened? I was furious with him. There were so many things I’d wanted to talk to him about, wished he would explain, yet now I could barely breathe, let alone have a conversation.

He always did this, took over my mind, all my senses and feelings, leaving me trembling.

“Evander!” I cried out, arching up from the bed, and his response was to lift me toward his mouth more.

I swear, he was the king of all my dreams, the lord of all my passions, the captain of all my desires.

I was helpless against him.

Evander

I did not dream, as she had fulfilled all of them. Maybe that was why I woke early, as she was seeking to leave my arms. I watched as she took the top sheet, wrapping it around herself before quietly trying to rise.

“Escaping me?” I whispered to her back.

Startled, she glanced at me. “Forgive me, did I wake you?”

“The lack of you did,” I replied, touching her skin. “Where are you going?”

“I must get ready and review the gifts before I go.” She was truly dedicated to this task.

“It cannot wait until the sun is fully up?”

“They are working people,” she reminded me, and I wondered what she knew of such things. “When the sun is high, they will not be home.”

I grinned. “What a thoughtful mistress you are.”
