“This is the last one,” he said, whispering the words against her ear.
Suzy laughed. “We’ll see. You said it about the last one, and well, we’ve got a little girl right now.” She rested her head against his chest. “I’m the luckiest woman in the world.”
“No, babe, I’m the luckiest man. I love you so damn much.”
He kissed her and knew staking his claim was the best thing he’d ever done.
