“I know you don’t think you’re ready, but nothing will happen that you don’t want to happen. They’re really careful to make sure that everyone knows the rules. No one is going to drag you off somewhere and force you to do something.”

“He’s right,” Cullen agreed. “Everyone there signs an agreement to follow the rules. Safe, sane, and consensual is very important. However, it’s not as simple as that, Marcus.”

“What isn’t? Seems simple to me. She reads through the contract, fills in the checklist, and done. We’re going to have so much fun.”

“What if Isla doesn’t want to go? What if she doesn’t want to be part of the lifestyle?” Cullen asked.

“You could ask her,” Ivy said in a quiet but firm voice. “She’s right there.”

Cullen sat back in his chair. “You’re right. I apologize, Isla. Would you like to go to Rawhide Ranch? Have you ever wanted to explore BDSM or age-play?”

“I-I…” Was she brave enough to do this? She could stay here. She’d be safe. Terrified and lonely, but safe.

Or she could go with Marcus. The one person in the world who made her feel alive. The reason she got up every morning. Maybe she could even let go of the chains she kept around her Little.

“I think I do have a Little side,” she confessed.

Marcus smiled.

“I don’t know if I can let her out, though.”

Something entered Cullen’s eyes. He leaned forward. “But would you like to try? Rawhide is a safe space to explore.”

“I don’t know. Can I go there and then decide?”

“I can call Derek. Explain it to him. That you might want to explore that side of yourself, but you’re unsure.”

“He really won’t make me do anything?” she asked worriedly.

“No one will ever make you do anything you don’t want to do,” Marcus told her hotly. “I’ll make sure of that.”

They all stared at him.

“What?” he asked.

“You’re trying to make her go to Rawhide,” Cullen pointed out.

“Pfft. She wants to go. She just thinks she should say no. I know how she thinks. Right now, she’s about to start worrying about the money side.”

Shoot. She hadn’t even gotten to the part where she worried about that. She was still concerned over what would be expected of her.

“But she doesn’t need to worry because this is my Easter gift to her. Wait here.” He jumped away from the table, racing out.

What was going on? Her head was spinning.

“You okay?” Ivy asked. “You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do.”

“I know,” she said. She hoped she gave the other woman a reassuring smile.

“You’ve been through a lot, Isla. If it’s all too much, I can tell him to back down,” Cullen added.

“No! No, I don’t want… I don’t want that.”

Marcus was her safe space.

Even if he could be a bit pushy.

“Here you are!” He rushed back in, carrying two envelopes. “This is from me!”

It had her name written along the front. The letters were all wobbly.

“I wrote it with my wobbly pen you gave me for my birthday.”

She had to smile. She’d just known he would like that pen the moment she saw it.

Opening the envelope, she saw one first-class ticket to Montana as well as a reservation for Rawhide Ranch. For a one-bedroom suite.

It had been printed off months ago.

“You did this ages ago? You always wanted me to come?”

“Of course. I never want to be apart from you, La-la.”

She sucked in a breath.

“Wow, that was so sweet,” Ivy said.

“Did you request that her room be next to ours?” Cullen asked.

“I asked that it be close by. Don’t worry, she won’t be on her own. I’m staying with her.”

“You’re what?” Cullen asked. “You’re meant to be with us.”

Marcus wrinkled his nose. “That was never going to work well. It’s going to scar me for life if I have to hear you playing hide the sausage.”

Ivy let out a noise, her cheeks growing red. Cullen just groaned. “This has disaster written all over it.”

“How?” Marcus demanded.

“You cannot just do what you want there, and you know it,” Cullen said.

Marcus sighed. “I know. They have all these rules. And Nanny J sure does know how to wield a paddle.”

A paddle?

Oh god.

“But she won’t use it on you,” Marcus told her. “Remember, you have to give consent.”

Right. Her heart started to slow.

“We don’t even have to go near the Littles’ wing,” Marcus told her. “We can just hang out in our suite and order room service. There’s a private jacuzzi. We’ll spend most of our time in that.”

Shoot. She didn’t want that. Not only because she didn’t want to ruin this experience for Marcus, but because she was kind of curious about the Ranch and all it had to offer.

She just couldn’t imagine letting a stranger spank her. Touch her.

No. Nope.

The only person she wanted touching her was Marcus.
